Kinner Kailash is one of the most mythical abodes of Lord Shiva in Kinnaur(HP). Situated at a dizzying height of 6100 meters a huge 79 foot vertical rock is an absolute wonder. On a clear sky day you can witness Kinner Kailash Shivalingam changing its color as the day passes on.
Kinner Kailash is considered a sacred place in India by Hindu and Buddhist Kinnauris as it is associated with Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati. As per the beliefs a meeting of Goddesses and Gods is conducted by Lord Shiva at Kinner Kailash peak every winter. Hundreds of devotees travel to Kinner Kailash every year. The views of the peaks from here are totally worth it.
Not just guys you will witness ladies as well trekking on this route. Sometimes HP Govt as well deploy its personals to ensure devotees and trekkers safety.
Mostly a steep incline trek one has to make his way through rocky paths. It’s a high altitude trek and requires high levels of fitness, agility and confidence; hence, travelers with no or less high altitude trekking experience should not attempt this trek.
